WrestleMania 42 will air live from Allegiant Stadium next month and so far two big women’s matches have been announced for the show. It’s been confirmed that Liv Morgan will be challenging Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship and Rhea Ripley will be challenging Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship.
Last year Tiffany Stratton walked into WrestleMania with the WWE Women’s Championship and she successfully defended the belt against Charlotte Flair. During a recent appearance on The Nikki & Brie Show, Stratton talked about her belief that women will main event WrestleMania again, and The Bella Twins shared their thoughts regarding how many women’s matches should be on the card.
Tiffany Stratton: “I fully believe one day we’re gonna have another women’s main event at WrestleMania. So, us women, we all need to come together. We need to make that happen.”
Brie Bella: “For sure. Well, all the women have been killing it lately, so if it’s not happening this ‘Mania, I’ll be shocked, and I hope too there’s just as many.”
Nikki Bella: “And a lot more female matches. I feel like there should be three a night.”
Brie: “If not four.”
Nikki: “Especially with added time from ESPN.”
Brie: “So we need to see a lot of women on WrestleMania. For sure.”
As of this writing neither Tiffany Stratton nor The Bella Twins have been confirmed for the WrestleMania card, but Stratton recently discussed her rumored plans for the show and you can get more details on that here.
