It’s been an eventful week for Tama Tonga as The MFTs lost the WWE Tag Team Championship on SmackDown last week and it was reported ahead of the show that Tama Tonga had been fined for sharing a video of WWE rehearsals on social media.
Fightful Select is now reporting that they’ve been told the fine Tama Tonga received from WWE was in the five figure territory. Tama Tonga has yet to directly address the situation, but after reports of the fine started making the rounds he posted the following:

Andrew Zarian first reported the fine when he posted a tweet which said, “Word going around at SmackDown is that Tama Tonga was fined by WWE for posting a video of rehearsals last week. Was told it was significant of a fine. WWE has an unwritten rule about not recording/posting during rehearsal.”
Tama Tonga deleted the video, but fans were able to capture it before it was deleted and the video has been making the rounds on social media over the last few days. It’s not clear at this point in time if the situation involving the video and the fine had anything to do with The MFTs dropping the WWE Tag Team Championship to R-Truth and Damian Priest.
