Jelly Roll has made his fair share of appearances on WWE programming over the last few years and he returned to the company last week when he was the guest on Miz TV on SmackDown.
During the appearance things got heated between Miz and Jelly Roll as Kit Wilson interrupted. After Kit shoved Jelly Roll he went to punch Kit, but Kit moved out of the way, so Jelly Roll ended up hitting Miz instead.
Following the show it was rumored that Jelly Roll could be teaming up with Royce Keys for a tag team match at WrestleMania, but Dave Meltzer recently reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Keys will not be teaming with Jelly Roll.
“I had asked about the story because there was a story about Royce Keys [teaming with Jelly Roll at WrestleMania], and I was told that it’s not Royce Keys.”
One way or another the Jelly Roll storyline is set to continue this week as it’s been confirmed that Kit Wilson will be calling Jelly Roll out on SmackDown.
