This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown is set to air live from the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, NC and it’s shaping up to be a big show. Ahead of SmackDown on Friday, Nick Aldis has announced that The MFTs will be defending their WWE Tag Team Titles against R-Truth and Damian Priest.
R-Truth and Damian Priest became the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship when they won a tag team turmoil match on the March 6th episode of SmackDown.

The following matches and segments have also been confirmed for this week’s episode of SmackDown:
– Kit Wilson calls out Jelly Roll
– Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu
– Lash Legend & Nia Jax vs. Brie Bella & Nikki Bella for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
– Randy Orton appears
Last week on SmackDown, Randy Orton turned on Cody Rhodes immediately after he signed the contract for their title match at WrestleMania. During an interview with Michael Cole on Raw, Orton teased that he had been talking to someone who reminded him who he is. He closed the interview out by reminding everyone that, “Wrestling has more than one royal family.” Friday will be Orton’s first appearance in front of a live crowd after runing heel last week.
Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu have been feuding for months now, but many fans were surprised to see the Fatu vs. McIntyre match booked for SmackDown. Recently it’s been reported that there was a reason why the match was announced for SmackDown ahead of WrestleMania, and you can get more details on that here.
