Ricochet has been the talk of the wrestling world over the last few days for all the wrong reasons. Over on X/Twitter a fan commented on a video of Ricochet crashing out after losing the AEW National Championship when they criticized his acting skills. Ricochet then responded to the fan’s comment with a comment of his own which said, “I’m glad you got MS.”
Ricochet also issued a statement regarding the things fans have said to him and his wife, Samantha Irvin, on social media when he posted the following:
“Its soooo hilarious that the amount of little b*****s who has tweeted and wished harm on me, who has wished even death, said some of the most VILE things to me AND my wife. People who try and make fun of me EVERYDAY. But those same little b*****s can’t take it when I do it back to people. F*****g p*****s, everywhere.”
Ricochet’s “I’m glad you got MS,” tweet was heavily criticized and now it seems that Samantha Irvin has deleted her X/Twitter account amid the controversy. When you try to access her page @SamanthaTheBomb it now simply reads “This account doesn’t exist.”
While Ricochet often engages with fans on social media, Samantha Irvin has also received her fair share of backlash ever since she left WWE in October of 2025.
Ricochet did issue an apology after deleting the controversial tweet, but it’s been reported that he may be in trouble with AEW management and you can get more on that here.
