We’re currently on the road to WrestleMania 42 and the card has been coming together in recent weeks. Several matches have been confirmed for the show and it looks like this year’s event could set a new record.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that there is an idea within WWE creative that could see six women’s matches featured on the card this year. The word is that at least five of those matches are firmly planned.
It’s being said that the actual state of the matches wasn’t revealed, but if WWE does move forward with the plans it would be a new record for WrestleMania. Currently WrestleMania 36 holds the record for most women’s matches on a WrestleMania card as the show featured five including Liv Morgan vs. Natalya which took place on the pre-show.
As of this writing the only two women’s matches that have been confirmed for the show are Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship and Jade Cargill vs. Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s Championship.
WrestleMania 42 will air live from Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, 2026 and the current card can be seen below.
