The Royal Rumble has come and gone which means that WrestleMania season has officially kicked off. The Royal Rumble premium live event was full of twists and turns such as the way Bron Breakker was eliminated from the men’s Royal Rumble match.
As Breakker was making his way down the ramp he was attacked by a mystery man in a hoodie who hit him with a superkick following by a Curb Stomp. The man then threw Breakker into the ring and he was eliminated by Oba Femi immediately after. Breakker’s elimination surprised a lot of people, but it looks like the angle was done to set up his WrestleMania match.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that right now the belief is Seth Rollins will be ready for WrestleMania and will face Bron Breakker in a singles match. The idea is that Bron Breakker caused the storyline injury that sidelined Seth Rollins even though he actually suffered an injury doing the coast to coast headbutt spot in his match with Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel.
According to the report most of the talk was that Grayson Waller was the mystery man at the Royal Rumble, but the person who was under the mask is not expected to be revealed as the mystery man when the time comes.
