It’s a busy time for the stars of WWE as all eyes are focused on the Royal Rumble right now. However, the wrestling world was hit with a big announcement on Friday as Ava revealed that she is leaving the company. The NXT General Manager confirmed that she made her appearance on this week’s episode of NXT was her last, and she also confirmed that she decided not to renew her contract when she posted the following:
“This past Tuesday was my last appearance on NXT & subsequently WWE. Thank you to all who have cheered, watched, and supported me through my journey. While my decision to not renew my contract was very difficult, it’s also a new turning point in my life. It has been an honor & a privilege to be Ava.”
Following her departure from the company WWE has removed Ava from the active roster and moved her profile to the alumni section on their official website.

After news of Ava’s departure broke WWE issued a statement which said, “WWE thanks and applauds Simone Garcia Johnson for her stellar work as Ava and beyond. Her passion, dedication, and impact were felt across the entire NXT and WWE community. We wish her the very best in all future endeavors.”
Ava also thanked the fans when she posted the following on X:
