This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite aired live from the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in Austin, Texas and the show featured some interesting moments.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that AEW Dynamite drew 498,000 viewers on TBS this week, which was down 5.3 percent compared to last week’s episode. The number was the second lowest reported audience for the show since the December 3rd episode.

The report also notes that the show did a 0.08 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is the same rating the show did the week before, and ties the second lowest rating Dynamite has ever drawn in that category on a Wednesday night. Dynamite tied for 13th on the cable charts while going head to head with NBA on ESPN and the NHL on TNT. The NBA and NHL took the first and third spots on the cable charts.

AEW Dynamite featured three big title matches as Mark Briscoe defended the TNT Championship against El Clon, FTR defended the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Davis and Doyle, and Kris Statlander defended the AEW Women’s Championship against Thekla. Tommaso Ciampa also made his debut and it was confirmed that he will be challenging Mark Briscoe for the TNT Championship at Collision on Saturday.
