This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and the show featured the return of Bron Breakker. Adam Pearce apologized to Bron Breakker, then announced that every member of The Vision will be in the Royal Rumble. Pearce then proceeded to book Austin Theory in an impromptu match against Rey Mysterio.
The Vision watched the match from the ringside area and Rey Mysterio was accompanied by Dragon Lee and Penta. Ultimately Austin Theory picked up the win over Rey when he put him away with the Curb Stomp. After the match The Vision destroyed Dragon Lee and Penta as WWE officials checked on Rey Mysterio.
It appears that Rey Mysterio may have suffered some type of injury as the referee threw up the X to signal that Mysterio was hurt, and Rey had to be helped to the back. Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline is also reporting that Rey was legitimately hurt during his match with Austin Theory.
