Saturday Night’s Main Event aired live from the Bell Centre in Montreal and the show kicked off in a big way. Jacob Fatu vs. Cody Rhodes was supposed to open the show, but the match was thrown out as the two stars ended up brawling throughout the arena until Drew McIntyre eventually showed up and took them both out.
The action continued with the second match of the night which saw Liv Morgan & Roxanne Perez challenge Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
For the majority of the match Liv Morgan & Roxanne Perez isolated Iyo Sky. Eventually Rhea Ripley got the tag and she dominated both Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez.
Near the end of the match Rhea Ripley hit Roxanne Perez with Riptide and Iyo followed up with a moonsault. She pinned Roxanne Perez, but Raquel Rodriguez interfered.
Stephanie Vaquer then made her way out to fight off Raquel and she was without the walking boot for the first time in weeks. The end of the match came when Rhea Ripley connected with Riptide on Liv then pinned her to retain the titles.
