This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown is set to air live from the Bell Centre in Montreal and it’s shaping up to be a loaded show. Ahead of SmackDown tonight Bodyslam is reporting that the early rundown for the show lists the segments as follows:
– Sami Zayn segment
– Carmelo Hayes US Title Open Challenge
– Cody Rhodes segment
– Wyatt 6 vs. MFT – WWE Tag Team Championship
– Aldis & Styles segment
– Drew McIntyre segment
– #1 Contender Women’s Tag Championship match
– Damian Priest vs. Trick Williams
It was also noted that rundowns don’t always list everything that’s on the show. WWE previously announced Johnny Gargano vs. Nathan Frazer for SmackDown, and Jade Cargill vs. Chelsea Green is also being advertised for this week’s episode.
One way or another there’s a lot of intrigue heading into tonight’s show as Nick Aldis has invited AJ Styles to SmackDown. It was announced earlier this week that AJ Styles will be putting his career on the line when he faces Gunther at the Royal Rumble next week, so this could potentially be his last appearance on the blue brand depending on how things play out with his career threatening match.
