Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley have all become successful singles stars in their own right, but years ago they debuted on the WWE main roster as The Shield. Together they became one of the most impactful factions of the last decade and their legacy lives on to this very day.

Fans have often wondered if we could see a potential Shield reunion someday, but Seth Rollins recently explained why it’s not likely to happen during an interview with GQ Magazine.

“Not a lot of love lost between myself and Roman Reigns. Dean Ambrose, Jon Moxley, not currently with the company. Don’t know if he’s ever coming back.

I would say chances are very slim. Maybe one day there’ll be a Hall of Fame induction where all three of us will be in the same place at the same time. I would say we’re looking at like a real [slim chance]. Maybe Kurt Angle has a better chance.”

The Shield last fought together as a unit on April 21, 2019 when they defeated Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley & Drew McIntyre during a WWE Network special titled The Shield’s Final Chapter. Moxley has been a member of the AEW roster since he debuted with the company in May of 2019, and he has given no indication that he is interested in returning to WWE in the future.
