In recent years fans have seen a number of former AEW stars make the jump to WWE such as Jade Cargill, Blake Monroe, Ricky Saints and Penta to name a few. Now it seems that another wrestler has parted ways with AEW and signed with WWE.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that Powerhouse Hobbs has officially signed with WWE after finishing up his run and parting ways with All Elite Wrestling.

It’s not clear at this point in time when Powerhouse Hobbs will be making his WWE debut, but it was recently reported that Hobbs is expected to be at Royal Rumble weekend later this month.

Powerhouse Hobbs first started working with AEW in 2020 when he debuted as Will Hobbs. Throughout his run with the company he managed to become a one time TNT Champion and a one time AEW World Trios Champion. His contract with the company expired earlier this month and he opted not to re-sign despite reports that AEW had offered him a new contract.

Stay tuned for updates.
