This week’s episode of TNA Impact was a highly anticipated show as Total Nonstop Action debuted on AMC. The show featured a big title match with The IInspiration defending their TNA Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Championship against The Elegance Brand.
Fightful Select is reporting that The IInspiration saw their deals with TNA Wrestling expire despite winning the Knockouts Tag Team Championship. Cassie Lee and Jess McKay dropped the TNA Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Championship to The Elegance Brand this week on Impact, and it’s being reported that they are now set to leave the company.
According to the report The IInspiration did not sign new contracts after signing a series of short term deals with Total Nonstop Action. It’s being said that they were open to remaining with the company, but opted to finish up after this week. It was also noted that there is interest in the team from outside TNA Wrestling.
The IInspiration originally debuted with TNA Wrestling in 2021 after the duo was released from WWE. They went on to become the first female team to win tag team gold in TNA Wrestling and WWE. In April of 2022, The IInspiration announced they were stepping away from in-ring competition, but later return to Total Nonstop Action in 2025.
