Liv Morgan has been one of the top stars in the WWE women’s division for years now and she made her return to WWE programming back in November after spending several months on the sidelines due to injury. When Liv returned she confronted Stephanie Vaquer and seemingly teased that she was looking to challenge for the title, but since then there’s been no follow up as Raquel Rodriguez has been feuding with Vaquer.

While talking about her current goals on Raw Recap, Liv Morgan explained that she and Roxanne Perez are focusing on the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship because Raquel staked her claim for the Women’s World Championship.

“Raquel Rodriguez, she claimed her stake for the Women’s World Championship, so that left the Tag Team Titles for Roxy and I. I’m gonna continue the tradition of Judgment Day holding all the gold, it’s going to start with, actually it starts with Dominik, Intercontinental Champion and AAA Mega Champion, shoutout to Daddy Dom.

“Roxy and I are gonna continue that with becoming the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Raquel’s gonna become the Women’s World Champion, and Finn I hope gets it together, which it seems like, my little talk to him lit a little fire.”

During this week’s episode of Raw, Liv Morgan & Roxanne Perez faced off against Lyra Valkyra & Bayley and Asuka & Kairi Sane in a triple threat match. Ultimately Liv Morgan & Roxanne Perez picked up the win to become the new number one contenders for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. They will challenge Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky for the belts at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Montreal on January 24.
