The Motor City Machine Guns have been one of the most successful duos in tag team wrestling over the last few decades, and there was a lot of excitement surrounding their WWE signing when they put pen to paper in 2024.
Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley quickly established themselves as top stars in the WWE tag team division as they won the WWE Tag Team Championship shortly after their debut. However, there has been a lot of speculation regarding where they stand with the company as of late due to the fact that WWE has not been using the Motor City Machine Guns on a regular basis.
PWInsider is reporting that the Motor City Machine Guns are scheduled to work the AAA TV tapings this weekend and Fightful Select is also reporting that the Motor City Machine Guns are set to work upcoming AAA dates.
The Motor City Machine Guns last appeared on WWE programming on the November 21st, 2025 episode of SmackDown when they teamed with Rey Fenix, Sami Zayn & Shinsuke Nakamura to face JC Mateo, Solo Sikoa, Talla Tonga, Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa in a traditional Survivor Series match.
