The Continental Classic semifinals kicked off the Worlds End pay-per-view and Konosuke Takeshita faced off against Kazuchika Okada in the opening match.

Okada and Takeshita were evenly matched, but it was ultimately Okada who picked up the victory after he hit Takeshita with a screwdriver while the referee wasn’t looking. After the match Okada placed the screwdriver underneath the ring.

Jon Moxley faced off against Kyle Fletcher in the second match of the night, and things got interesting when Fletcher went searching for the screwdriver in the turnbuckle, but it wasn’t there because Okada used it earlier in the night. Moxley ending up advancing to the finals when he locked in the Bulldog Choke and Kyle Fletcher passed out.

Kazuchika Okada faced off in the finals later in the night and they pushed each other to the limit. The referee took the belt from Okada and Moxley hit Okada with a low blow while the referee was removing the belt from the ring.

Moxley ended up picking up the win when he hit Okada with the Stomp, followed by the Paradigm Shift, followed by the Death Rider to get the three count. After the match the Death Riders came out to the ring to celebrate with Moxley.
