WWE held another double taping in Grand Rapids, MI on Friday night, and next week’s episode of Raw was taped ahead of next week’s episode of SmackDown. It sounds like WWE put together a packed episode of next week as the following segments were taped for the December 22nd episode of Raw:
– Paul Heyman & Austin Theory backstage promo
– Asuka defeats Rhea Ripley
– Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed discuss Austin Theory possibly joining The Vision
– Becky Lynch returns and is interrupted by Maxxine Dupri who makes Becky tap out to the ankle lock
– Stephanie Vaquer vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Nikki Bella for the WWE Women’s World Championship is announced for the December 29th episode of Raw
– Je’Von Evans defeated Rayo Americano
– AJ Lee & Dragon Lee vs. The Usos for the WWE World Tag Team Championship is announced for the December 26th episode of Raw
– Nikki Bella cuts a promo
– Bayley defeated Roxxane Perez, Raquel tried to cause a distraction that cost Roxxane the match as she had Bayley pinned, Liv Morgan pulled Raquel off the apron and the two argued
– Maxxine Dupri vs. Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship is announced for the January 5th episode of Raw
– Gunther cuts a promo about retiring John Cena which is interrupted by CM Punk and Rey Mysterio, then leads to a stare down between Punk and Gunther
– Austin Theory & Bronson Reed defeat CM Punk & Rey Mysterio
