During this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Rey Mysterio faced off against Logan Paul in the main event, and CM Punk offered to watch Mysterio’s back when he spoke to the Hall of Famer backstage ahead of the match.
Near the end of the match Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker started walking toward the ring, but CM Punk appeared from behind them with a steel chair and chased them back to the backstage area.
Shortly after Paul Heyman handed the brass knuckles to Logan Paul and Paul tried to strike Mysterio. However, Rey countered with a drop toe hold into the ropes and connected with the 619 on The Maverick. Logan Paul dropped the brass knuckles, so Rey went to pick them up, but the masked man appeared out of nowhere and hit Rey with the stomp on the apron.
Logan Paul landed a frog splash on Rey Mysterio to win the match then he stared down the masked man. CM Punk made his way out with a steel chair as the masked man retreated into the crowd. The masked man stood on the stairs then took off his mask and it was revealed to be Austin Theory.
Theory looked on as Bron Breakker speared CM Punk and held up the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as Raw came to an end.
