It’s been a big week for TNA Wrestling as the company announced that they signed a deal with AMC. Starting on January 15, 2026, TNA Wrestling’s flagship show, Impact, will begin airing weekly on AMC and AMC+. The promotion is expected to pull out all the stops for the first episode on AMC and it looks like a big name could be returning for the show.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that one WWE source indicated TNA Wrestling would like for AJ Styles to wrestle on the first Impact on AMC. Styles working with TNA Wrestling has always been up to WWE as the company did allow him to appear at Slammiversary earlier this year, but he wasn’t allowed to wrestle.

If AJ Styles does end up wrestling another match inside a Total Nonstop Action ring it was noted that The Phenomenal One and Frankie Kazarian would likely want to do a match together since they were both part of the company for years.

During an interview last month Styles addressed the possibility of him returning to TNA Wrestling for another match when he said, “It’s NXT that has the partnership, not the main roster talent. Listen, I wish I could do it. I think I should be the only guy to do it, but that’s being very selfish. We’ll see what happens in the future, I don’t know necessarily. We’ll find out together.”

Stay tuned for updates.
