WWE Survivor Series has come and gone which means that the next WWE premium live event on the schedule is the Royal Rumble. The show will air live from Saudi Arabia for the first time ever on January 31, 2026 and it sounds like WWE already has a favorite to win the men’s Royal Rumble match.
It was recently reported on WrestleVotes Radio that things could always change, but as of right now WWE creative sees Bron Breakker as the favorite to win the 2026 men’s Royal Rumble match.
Bron Breakker has been involved in some major storylines this year and Paul Heyman has been hyping Breakker up as the future of WrestleMania for some time. Over the weekend he pinned CM Punk in the main event at Survivor Series and it was announced on the most recent episode of Raw that Bron Breakker will be challenging CM Punk for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the January 5th episode.
It’s also worth noting that the Wrestling Observer recently reported CM Punk vs. Bron Breakker for the title is currently penciled in for WrestleMania 42. Another big match has also reportedly been set for the WrestleMania card and you can get more on that here.
