John Cena’s wrestling career will be ending soon as he’s currently set to compete in his retirement match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th. Throughout the course of his retirement tour a number of Cena’s former opponents have been weighing in on his career, and Ken Anderson recently opened up about his relationship with the former WWE Champion.
During a recent appearance on the All Axxess Entertainment podcast, Ken Anderson admitted that he never really had a great relationship with John Cena, and felt that Cena was working against him.
“I never really had like great feelings working with John Cena, we were never very close. Never had a great working relationship. I always felt like he was working against me.”
“But I will say like, you know, with that being said, he is obviously like, he is the man you know. He has been the man in the business and I think it was kind of a crazy thing for him like, just to witness the Cena sucks, let’s go Cena, Cena sucks thing, and how he was still the top guy. You know that was just like an amazing, somebody should make a college course on that alone someday. Like a study in that how that was successful. What made it successful you know.”
John Cena will be making his final appearance on Raw tonight during this week’s show at Madison Square Garden. It’s been confirmed that Cena will be wrestling, but his opponent has not been revealed.
