Survivor Series is quickly approaching and this week’s episode of SmackDown set the stage for the men’s WarGames match. Paul Heyman and Bronson Reed met with Nick Aldis in his office and Heyman presented Aldis with WarGames documents which stated that he can use any wrestler from Raw or SmackDown.
Cody Rhodes confronted Heyman and Reed and they challenged Rhodes to put the title on the line against Reed in the main event. The champion agreed to the title match and told Nick Aldis to make it official. Jimmy Uso also confirmed that he spoke to CM Punk and would be joining Punk, Rhodes and Jey for WarGames.
During the main event Bronson Reed and Cody Rhodes were brawling outside the ring Bron Breakker and Logan Paul attacked The American Nightmare. The Vision and Logan Paul continued to beat Cody down as The Usos tried to make the save.
Unfortunately for Jimmy & Jey, Drew McIntyre returned from his suspension and joined the heel team. Nick Aldis ran out and he was furious over Drew’s return, but Paul Heyman reminded him that he is allowed to recruit anyone from Raw or SmackDown.
The heels got the upper hand as SmackDown went off the air, and Paul Heyman handed the WarGames documents to Drew McIntyre while he celebrated alongside Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Logan Paul.
