This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was the special Blood and Guts edition of the show and the event gave fans plenty to talk about. Now that the dust has settled following Blood and Guts all eyes are looking ahead to see what’s next and it looks like the return of one of AEW’s top stars could be on the horizon.
Fightful Select is reporting that MJF is expected to return to All Elite Wrestling sooner than later. MJF has been in Winnipeg filming Violent Night 2 and it was reported a few weeks ago that filming was set to wrap soon.
Over the last few years MJF has landed roles in The Iron Claw, Happy Gilmore 2 and Violent Night 2. It’s being said that the former AEW World Champion has caught the acting bug, and the expectation is that he will continue acting while balancing his schedule with wrestling.
At this point MJF is factored into AEW’s creative plans for December, but the extent of which he’ll be around is unknown right now. MJF last stepped into the ring on September 20th when he faced off against Mark Briscoe at the AEW All Out pay-per-view.
