The WWE main roster is loaded with names at the top of the card right now as CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes and more are all proven main events. However, it’s no big secret that those names are also getting closer to the end of their careers.
WWE will have to make new main eventers in the years to come, and Cody Rhodes recently revealed on All The Smoke that Dominik Mysterio is seen as someone who is the future of the company.
“Credit to whoever figures out, with load management, whoever figures out how we improve. And I am seeing it. Dom Mysterio is like, probably my favorite example. Dom Mysterio does not have the amount of live events that we used to have, although he is working multiple companies for WWE at the moment. Special special talent. He’s somebody that is often cited internally.
I don’t think I am giving anything away here, as somebody who’s going to be a future of the WWE. He’s one of the ones that when it’s said, I believe it. Like I think I am gonna come to a WWE show in 15 years and pay money to see it, and it will probably be Dom Mysterio on the top of the card, because he is figuring out how to do it.”
Currently Dominik Mysterio is the WWE Intercontinental Champion and AAA Mega Champion, so it will be interesting to see what the future holds for him.
