This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw is set to air live from Anaheim, CA and it will be the red brand’s go-home show for Saturday Night’s Main Event. WWE has some big segments lined up for Raw this week and it looks like we could potentially see a return tonight as well.
PWInsider reported last week that Santos Escobar was scheduled to travel to Anaheim for Raw this week, and Fightful Select reports that Escobar is indeed in the building for what could be his first appearance on WWE programming in months.
Santos Escobar has been a hot topic in the wrestling world over the last few weeks as his contract with WWE expired on October 7th and he briefly parted ways with the company. However, it was reported shortly after the deal expired that WWE made him a better offer which led to Escobar signing a new deal. Santos Escobar last appeared on WWE programming when he stepped into the ring at the Worlds Collide event on June 7th.
WWE is currently focusing on the following points for tonight’s show:
– CM Punk and Jey Uso meet ahead of World Heavyweight Title Match
– Nikki Bella squares off with Roxanne Perez
– Penta battles Rusev in Intercontinental Title No. 1 Contender’s Match
