Monday Night Raw is WWE’s flagship show and the red brand has gone through a lot of changes over the last few years. Back in January, Raw made the jump to Netflix, and WWE’s partnership with the streaming service allows the company to air Raw at different times depending on the location of the show, and other factors. Now it seems that WWE will be moving Raw’s start time up by one hour for a few shows in September.
It was recently noted on WrestleVotes Radio that Raw will start at 7pm EST on September 15th, 22nd, and 29th. According to a source the decision was made some time ago as both WWE and Netflix want to see how Raw performs with an earlier start time when the show is up against Monday Night Football.
It was also noted that with the earlier start time WWE Raw main events should end before “crunch time” when it comes to action in the NFL. It appears that the earlier start time is just for the three aforementioned shows as of right now.
One way or another business has picked up in a big way for the stars of Monday Night Raw as the show has featured top names such as Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins and more in recent weeks. Next week’s episode of Raw will also have an earlier start time for fans in the United States as the show will be airing live from Paris.
Stay tuned for updates.
