Monday’s episode of WWE Raw aired live from Birmingham, England and the crowd was electric. At one point Becky Lynch appeared on the show, and she got a negative reaction from the Birmingham fans when she said, “The only good thing that came out of here died a month ago. But in fairness to Ozzy Osbourne, he had the good sense to move to LA, a proper city. Because if I lived in Birmingham, I’d die too.”
The negative backlash to Becky’s comments only increased following Raw as Kelly Osbourne took to Instagram to call out Becky Lynch when she called The Man a “disrespectful dirtbag.”
It seems that WWE is well aware of the backlash as Bryan Alvarez recently claimed on Wrestling Observer Live that the company is embarrassed and a public apology is being considered.
“I can tell you – this was not like they called her and they’re doing something together. Kelly is not happy. I was told WWE is embarrassed and they’re probably gonna do an apology. They may not. If you look back at how many times WWE has actually apologized for something, it ain’t many. There’s discussion about doing a public apology, I know they’ve talked about doing a private apology.”

Whether or not WWE will issue a public apology remains to be seen, but as of this writing Becky Lynch has yet to comment on the negative backlash following her promo on Raw.
