Jade Cargill and Naomi have been wrapped up in a heated feud for some time now and a few months ago the two stars faced off in a No Holds Barred match at the second ever Evolution premium live event. Both women took each other to the limit in a match that also featured Bianca Belair as the special guest referee.
While Jade and Naomi pulled out all the stops for their match at Evolution it seems that there were a few ideas they pitched that weren’t approved by WWE. Recently Jade Cargill spoke to Metro about her match with Naomi and she revealed some of the ideas that were shot down.
“There was so much we wanted to use that was asked. We wanted to use mace, that was going to be tough. And then we wanted to use razors, and that was going to be tough, but I welcome it!”
“I wish we were able to use the mace. [But] we gotta think about the crowd, we don’t want anybody in the crowd to be maced, because mace goes so far. That would’ve been wild! The whole first front row would have been lit with mace!”
Currently Jade Cargill and Naomi are on two separate paths as Cargill is on SmackDown while Naomi is on Raw. Cargill recently challenged Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam, but she was unable to defeat the champion. However, Jade has made it clear that she is looking to step up and challenge for the title again in the near future.
