Brock Lesnar was absent from WWE for two years, but the former WWE Champion made his big return to the company when he attacked John Cena after the SummerSlam night 2 main event.
During a recent appearance on ESPN’s Get Up, Triple H discussed Brock Lesnar’s return and he also discussed how it came together when he was asked what’s next for The Beast Incarnate.
“When you’re Brock Lesnar, you sort of….when that music hits and you walk down the aisle, it doesn’t matter where he is, he sort of does what he wants to do. We’re thrilled to have The Beast back. We hit him up and said, ‘Time to come home.’ He was into it and here we are. A massive, massive moment for our WWE fans, something that they thought they wouldn’t get to see. Making a statement with John Cena. Huge. We’re thrilled to have him back.”
Brock Lesnar last stepped into the ring at the SummerSlam 2023 premium live event where he was defeated by Cody Rhodes in their third one on one match. As of this writing WWE has not confirmed when Lesnar will be appearing on WWE programming next.
