WWE SummerSlam gave fans plenty to talk about as the show featured two nights of non-stop action at MetLife Stadium. During night 1 of the big event Karrion Kross faced off against Sami Zayn, and it was Zayn who picked up the victory. Over the last few months there’s been a lot of talk about Karrion Kross and his contract status with WWE as his deal is set to expire soon.
Fightful Select is reporting that Karrion Kross and Scarlett are not backstage at this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, and they are not planned for the show.
It’s also being reported that a WWE higher up has confirmed that Kross and Scarlett’s WWE contracts are set to expire this weekend, and neither one of them have been offered a new deal.
Kross has become a hot topic on social media over the last few days as fans who attended the SummerSlam post-show chanted “we want Kross” while Triple H was on the stage. The Game responded by referencing Brock Lesnar’s return when he said, “You want Brock? You’ve got him.” Karrion Kross responded to the chants when he posted the following on Twitter:
