Last week the wrestling world lost another legend as it was reported that Hulk Hogan had passed away at the age of 71 due to cardiac arrest. As soon as the news broke some of the biggest names in the business took to social media to honor Hulk Hogan.

Vince McMahon released a statement in which he referred to Hulk Hogan as the “greatest WWE Superstar of all time.” Now Shane McMahon has weighed in and he responded to his father’s statement when he posted the following:

“My dad could not have been more eloquent about what he wrote about the Hulkster. What a deep loss for us all. Hulk’s legacy is truly immortal. Thank you Terry for everything that you did for both the McMahon and WWE family. We will all miss you. God speed Brother.”

Shane McMahon has not appeared on WWE programming in some time as he last stepped into the ring at WrestleMania 39. Originally Shane was set to face The Miz in an impromptu match, but he tore his quad shortly after the match started, so Snoop Dogg replaced him.
