Over the last few years LA Knight has become one of the most popular stars on the WWE roster and he recently kicked off a heated feud with Seth Rollins. Knight and Rollins finally clashed at Saturday Night’s Main Event earlier this month and Knight picked up the victory after he put Seth away with the BFT.
Following the show it was reported that Seth Rollins suffered an injury which caused the finish for the match to be changed. Original plans reportedly called for Seth Rollins to defeat LA Knight at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Bodyslam.net is now reporting that while original plans did call for LA Knight to lose to Seth Rollins at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Knight was also planned to get his win back at SummerSlam. However, plans were changed due to Seth Rollins’ injury, and it’s not clear at this point in time if LA Knight will end up stepping into the ring at SummerSlam.
Over the last few years LA Knight has had a big showing at SummerSlam as he won the Slim Jim battle royal in 2023, and he defeated Logan Paul to win the United States Championship for the first time in his career in 2024.
