WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event kicked off in a big way as Randy Orton faced off against Drew McIntyre in the opening match. The Viper was joined by Jelly Roll as he made his way to the ring, and Logan Paul was at ringside for the match.
Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton were aggressive as they went after one another and the action spilled to the outside. Orton dropped McIntyre on the announce table three times then set his sights on Logan Paul. McIntyre took advantage of the distraction when he struck Orton and rolled him back into the ring. Orton followed up with a draping DDT to take control of the match.
Randy Orton was getting ready to hit McIntyre with the RKO when Logan Paul jumped onto the mat. The Viper tried to grab Logan Paul, but he jumped off the apron. As Orton turned around he walked into a Claymore. Drew went for the pin as Orton broke it up when he got his foot in the bottom rope.
Logan Paul and Jelly Roll got heated as they came face to face. They started to argue and Logan Paul pushed Jelly Roll, so Jelly Roll shoved Logan to the floor.
Drew McIntyre was watching the altercation from the ring. He taunted Jelly Roll as he challenged him to step into the ring and fight him. McIntyre then picked Orton up and The Viper hit him with the RKO to win the match.
After the match Logan Paul attacked Orton inside the ring. Jelly Roll grabbed Logan Paul and threw him into the corner. Paul tried to punch Jelly Roll, but Jelly blocked it and knocked Logan Paul down with a punch of his own. Logan Paul rolled out of the ring as Jelly Roll checked on Orton. Drew McIntyre got into the ring and took Jelly Roll out with a Claymore.
Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce made their way out to break up the altercation and Randy Orton looked upset as he realized what happened to Jelly Roll.
Later in the night it was officially announced that Randy Orton & Jelly Roll will team up to face Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul at SummerSlam.
