WWE has shuffled the deck in a big way over the last few months as the rosters for all three brands have been going through changes. The announce teams for Raw and SmackDown have been moved around and last week Corey Graves was shifted to NXT. Recently Graves indicated that he wasn’t happy with the change when he posted the following on social media:
Imagine chasing your dream.
“Then being TOLD (not deciding) that you’re no longer physically able to pursue your dream. Then you dedicate your life to something “dream adjacent” and being pretty f****** awesome at it. And then, when it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor, being told you’re not famous enough for your own job. Just in case you’ve wondered where I’ve been.”
Graves later teased that he would have more to say on NXT when he posted a follow up tweet which said, “I’ve got a lot to say. Don’t miss #WWENXT tonight on @TheCW TONIGHT.”

TONIGHT.— Corey Graves (@WWEGraves) January 14, 2025
PWInsider is now reporting that it’s been confirmed Corey Graves will not be appearing on NXT tonight. Graves was reportedly spotted this afternoon going through TSA at the airport in Orlando as he left the city.
There had reportedly been rumblings over the last several weeks that Corey Graves wasn’t happy with his positioning in the company. There’s currently no word on where things go from here for Corey Graves, but it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing him during tonight’s episode of NXT.
