There are a number of intriguing stories on WWE programming right now and another one kicked off during the November 22, 2024 episode of SmackDown when Jade Cargill was taken out of action by a mystery attacker.
Cargill has been off television for months now, but she was recently spotted training at the WWE Performance Center, and the belief is that she’s likely training for a return to TV ahead of WrestleMania.
PWInsider is reporting that the mystery surrounding who attacked Jade Cargill will be part of Cargill’s next storyline arc. There have been two different pitches regarding who her attacker will be.
The idea was that the mystery attacker angle allows WWE to move the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship without Jade Cargill or Bianca Belair taking a loss. This allows WWE to keep both Cargill and Belair strong while preparing creative plans for WrestleMania 41, especially if they end up facing off against one another.
