The annual Royal Rumble premium live event is only a few weeks away and there’s a lot of hype heading into the show this year. You never know who might show up at the Royal Rumble, and it sounds like two legends are being considered for an appearance at the event.
PWInsider is reporting that there’s been talk of bringing former Royal Rumble winners back for the upcoming Royal Rumble premium live event next month. Right now the two names being considered for a possible appearance are Ric Flair and “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan.
Ric Flair last appeared on WWE programming in 2021 and he parted ways with the company in August of that same year. The Nature Boy went on to compete in his final match in 2022, and he debuted with All Elite Wrestling in October of 2023. He last appeared on AEW programming in March of 2024 at the Revolution pay-per-view.
The WWE Royal Rumble will air live from Indianapolis, IN on Saturday, February 1 and the current card for the show can be seen below.
