It’s an interesting time to be a wrestling fan as there have been a number of surprise appearances across a variety of companies over the last few years. WWE Hall of Famer JBL managed to get the wrestling world talking with his surprise appearances in GCW and Total Nonstop Action, and there’s no telling where he could show up next.
At this point it doesn’t sound like JBL has any interest in slowing down, as he recently explained to Conrad Thompson on Something to Wrestle that 2025 will be the year that some crazy stuff happens.
“I was thinking about that when I turned 58. I thought, ‘This is gonna be the year that some fun stuff, crazy stuff’s gonna happen.’ I’ve been planning this for a while, and COVID happened and I got bored, been wanting to do some stuff in the wrestling business because it’s what I love, it’s what I always wanted to do, and now I’m getting a chance to do it. I’ve got some plans coming up, so hopefully this year will be a year to be remembered.”
