During last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Jade Cargill was written off TV when she was seemingly attacked backstage. WWE later announced that Cargill suffered multiple injuries including, “deep lumbar paraspinal muscle contusions, a bruised kidney, a sprained MCL in her right knee, a tibial plateau bone bruise of her right knee, and facial lacerations.”
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that the injury is confirmed to be real, but as of right now the severity is unknown. However, people involved with WWE creative have been told that Jade Cargill will be out of action for a minimum of three months. It was noted that she could potentially be out longer which is why WWE made an announcement with severe injuries.
Jade Cargill is currently one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, and she was also originally set to compete in the women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series this weekend. Due to the fact that she’s currently sidelined Cargill will be replaced in the WarGames match.
Stay tuned for updates.
