It’s no big secret that WWE tickets are selling well right now, and the rising ticket prices seem to be having an impact when it comes to availability not only for fans, but for WWE talent as well.
Fightful Select is reporting that over the last few years internal comp tickets have been limited with that limit hitting a new high in recent weeks. Numerous WWE talent have expressed frustration that comp tickets are no longer available in many cases.
A number of talent have indicated that they are getting a pre-sale link that their friends and family can use to get tickets before they go on sale to the general public, although it’s not clear if this applies to WWE talent across the board.
One WWE higher up noted that this new policy is a product of WWE’s success. It was also noted that the company had used less seat fillers that in previous years due to how hot WWE tickets are at the moment.
A talent who took issue with the change noted that there was no written info regarding the new policy as they were told by talent relations. One talent also said that they were asked to provide a credit card to pay for comp tickets that were previously approved months before, and they were informed of the change the week of the show.
