There are a number of stables across WWE’s three brands, but on Tuesday night one of the longest running stables in NXT officially split up for good.
Andre Chase faced off against Ridge Holland in a number one contenders match for the NXT Championship in the main event of NXT this week. Not only was a shot at the NXT Championship on the line, but there was also a stipulation stating that Chase U would have to disband if Andre Chase did not pick up the victory.
Duke Hudson, Thea Hail and Riley Osborne all tried to interfere as they attempted to save Chase U. Unfortunately it just wasn’t enough as Ridge Holland defeated Andre Chase when he put him away with the cradle DDT for the win.
Ridge Holland will now go on to challenge Trick Williams for the NXT Championship at Deadline, and Chase U will be forced to disband. Following the match Andre Chase posted the following statement thanking the members of Chase U:
