Following his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns stepped away from WWE, but he made his big return at the SummerSlam premium live event in August.

Since then Roman Reigns has been feuding with Solo Sikoa’s new Bloodline and he formed an unlikely alliance with Cody Rhodes when the two rivals teamed up to face Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu in the main event at WWE Bad Blood.

Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu made their entrance first. The University of Arkansas marching band then surrounded the ring and played Cody Rhodes’ entrance music while dancers danced in the aisle. Solo looked on at the band from inside the ring.

Cody’s music hit and the Undisputed WWE Champion made his entrance wearing the skull mask he wore at WrestleMania 40 while the band played along to his song.

Roman Reigns entered next as an orchestra stood in the aisle and played along to his music as he made his way down to the ring. The fans chanted “OTC.” Reigns got in the ring and looked Cody in the eyes then nodded. The fans booed as Solo held up the Ula Fala. Before the match kicked off Roman and Cody went back and forth as they discussed who would start the match. It kicked off with Cody vs. Jacob Fatu.

Near the end of the match The American Nightmare cleared off the announce table outside the ring. Jacob Fatu charged at him, but Cody got out of the way so Jacob ran through the barricade. Fatu immediately recovered and started throwing chairs at Cody. Rhodes connected with the Cross Rhodes on the floor, but Fatu got up again. The Undisputed WWE Champion hit two superkicks as Fatu landed on the table. Cody then went to the top rope, saluted Roman Reigns, then jumped off and hit a splash on Jacob Fatu through the table.

It came down to Solo and Roman who exchanged strikes in the ring as the fans alternated between boos and cheers. Eventually Solo connected with a superkick, but Roman responded with the Superman Punch. He went for the spear then Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa appeared to distract him. Solo hit a spear on Roman. Sikoa picked Roman up and told Roman Reigns that he lied to him.

Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa stood outside the ring as a man in a hood appeared. He superkicked them then pulled off the hood and it was revealed to be Jimmy Uso. Roman Reigns speared Solo then pinned him to pick up the win.

Jimmy got in the ring and took a knee as he made eye contact with Roman. They stood face to face hugged as the fans cheered. Jimmy held Roman’s arm up as Cody looked on from the corner while holding his title. Cody stood up then walked toward Roman Reigns. They looked at each other and Roman nodded at Cody Rhodes then signaled to Jimmy that it was time to leave.

Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Solo Sikoa attacked Cody from behind as Jimmy and Roman were leaving. Jimmy asked what they were going to do and they returned to the ring to back Cody up.

After clearing the ring Roman picked up the Undisputed WWE Championship. He stared at it then handed it to Cody. The Rock’s music hit and fans went crazy.

The Final Boss made his entrance with The People’s Championship on his shoulder. He stared at Roman, Cody and Jimmy in the ring as Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu stood in the crowd. The music cut out then he did the people’s eyebrow. He put his hand up then counted 1, 2, 3 with his fingers. Rock put his hand up towards his neck and made a cutting motion before leaving as the show went off the air.
