WWE has re-signed a number of wrestlers so far in 2024 while other deals have also expired. It was reported months ago that Angel Garza & Humberto Carillo’s deals were set to expire in August, and Angel Garza publicly confirmed that he had indeed signed a new WWE contract.
Fightful Select is now reporting that Humberto Carillo has signed a new contract with WWE. According to the report Humberto Carillo re-signed around the same time that Angel Garza did, and he signed a multi-year deal that lines up with Garza’s.
On WWE programming Angel Garza & Humberto Carillo have been aligned with Santos Escobar. The expectation is that moving forward the duo will continue to work as a team.
Humberto Carillo first signed with WWE in 2018 and he went on to compete on NXT and 205 Live. Carillo was drafted to the Monday Night Raw brand in 2019. His alliance with Angel Garza was formed in 2021 and they were both drafted to SmackDown that same year. They returned to NXT in June of 2023 then later returned to the main roster when they joined up with Santos Escobar. Currently Carillo, Garza and Escobar are part of the Raw brand.
