Ronda Rousey got the wrestling world talking when she made her big in-ring debut with WWE at WrestleMania 34. The Baddest Woman on the Planet kicked off a run that would culminate with a WrestleMania main event a year later, and she also returned for a second run in 2022 which wrapped up last summer.
Since parting ways with WWE, Ronda Rousey has openly discussed her time with the company and recently told Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture that she wishes she would have wrestled during the Triple H era.
“It was an incredible introduction. Part of me wishes the time that I wrestled would have been in the Triple H era and not the Vince (McMahon) era because he was the one that believed in me from the very beginning. I’ve been hearing incredible things about how he’s running stuff now. It was such an experience.”
Ronda Rousey last wrestled for WWE at SummerSlam in 2023 when she faced off against Shayna Baszler in a singles match that saw Baszler pick up the victory. Following her WWE departure she went on to compete at a few independent events and she also teamed up with Marina Shafir to face Athena and Billie Starkz at a ROH event before stepping away from the ring.
