WWE has gone through some major changes over the last few years which has led to some big departures behind the scenes. Following the TKO merger that took place last year WWE has been parting ways with numerous employees and now it seems that more names are gone.
PWInsider is reporting that WWE laid off a number of employees today. It’s being said that there were a “few” layoffs which included some long-standing WWE employees.
The divisions involved with the layoffs have not been confirmed. One source believed that employees may have been laid off from more than one division of the company.
Earlier today it was announced that WWE and UFC’s live events division would be merging into one division. There’s currently no word on whether or not the merger is related to the layoffs that took place today.
