On Thursday night WWE held the WrestleMania 40 press conference in Las Vegas and Cody Rhodes declared that he’ll be facing Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. Things got heated between Cody and The Rock which led to The Great One slapping The American Nightmare. Later The Rock confronted Triple H backstage and they also had a heated exchange.

This week on SmackDown, Triple H was shown backstage when he was approached by Bron Breakker. The Game told Breakker that he’s proud of how far he’s come and he referenced Bron’s main roster status when he said he’s really looking forward to seeing what Breakker can do at this level.

Bron Breakker started asking Triple H for advice on the offers he has to join Raw or SmackDown when Paul Heyman appeared and interrupted. Triple H asked Bron Breakker if he could give them a minute as Breakker left.

Triple H asked Paul Heyman what he wants and Heyman told The Game that he’s going to give him some space, so they can talk next week. Heyman then said that next week Roman Reigns will be with him. Paul Heyman then walked off screen only to return shortly after to tell Triple H that The Rock will also be returning on SmackDown next week.
