The Royal Rumble is set to air live from Tropicana Field on Saturday night and the wrestling world is talking about potential winners for both the women’s and men’s Royal Rumble matches.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 40 has been in the plans for months. This makes Becky Lynch a favorite to win the women’s Royal Rumble.
However, if Becky Lynch doesn’t win the Royal Rumble match on Saturday night WWE could potentially go in a different direction by having her earn a title shot at Elimination Chamber, or some type of storyline explanation.
So far the following names have been confirmed for the women’s Royal Rumble match on Saturday:
– Bayley
– Nia Jax
– Becky Lynch
– Bianca Belair
