Anything can happen when you watch SmackDown and a few months ago Santos Escobar turned on Rey Mysterio and the LWO. Escobar spent the following weeks embracing his new heel persona and he also recruited Angel Garza & Humberto Carillo to help him in his fight against the LWO.
Angel Garza & Humberto Carillo had been working in NXT since June of 2023, but they were called back up to the main roster during the December 22, 2023 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
It looks like WWE has once again shortened Angel Garza & Humberto Carillo’s names once again as their official profiles on WWE.com were recently updated to show that they will simply be known as Angel & Humberto moving forward.
Angel & Humberto will be in action tonight on SmackDown as they’re set to team with Santos Escobar to take on the team of Carlito, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro in a six man tag team match.
