This week on Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins made his way to the ring and the fans were singing his song, but eventually his song was drowned out by “CM Punk” chants. Rollins told them to get it out of their system because he doesn’t want to spend another moment talking about that hypocrite. He said he wants to talk about the title that he spent six months turning into the most important title in the industry. The fans started singing his song again.
The Visionary said he’s getting the itch to be a fighting champion again and he went to see Adam Pearce earlier. Drew McIntyre then interrupted him. McIntyre shook Seth’s hand and congratulated him for the victory at WarGames. He said that he has to put Jey Uso on the back burner and focus on the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Drew said he felt sympathy for Rollins during their match at Crown Jewel, which is why he lost, but now he’s a shark, and he wants a rematch. Rollins said he believes Drew deserves a rematch. However, he believes there are other people who deserve a match before Drew McIntyre. Seth told the fans that he’ll be defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match live on Raw next week.
McIntyre asked who will be getting the title shot and Seth Rollins confirmed that he will defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso. Drew responded by hitting Rollins with the Glasgow Kiss. Drew brutally attacked Rollins and asked if this was personal. He said he beat Jey Uso, so he should be ahead of him in the line.
Jey Uso came out to make the save and he and Rollins knocked McIntyre out of the ring with a double superkick. Jey Uso then handed the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt to Seth as the segment came to an end.
